Damian Pars Ardestani

Damian Pars is a multitalented songwriter and producer. He is also a sought after businessman. At the current age of 24 he has managed hundreds of people worldwide as sales director, marketing director and CEO of various companies. He is an inspiration to many, and a natural born leader and entrepreneur.

Damian was born on the 29:th of November 1985 in Teheran, Iran. His mother is Iranian and his father is half Iranian and half Russian. In 1986, his family fled the Islamic Regime and ended up in different countries across the world. He grew up with his mother in a suburb called Tensta in Stockholm, Sweden. She has always been a true inspiration to him. As the only child, he experienced the harsh reality of being a struggling fugitive first hand. He saw his mother fight her way up in society, building a successful career and a rich life from practically nothing, with no one by her side. Her strength to overcome all the tragedies and hard circumstances in her life gave him unconditional faith in himself. Thanks to her love, support and strength Damian always new he could achieve, overcome and do anything.

Damian started writing poetry when he was eight years old. One year later, he started playing the piano. What was once simple poems were now developed into melodies accompanied the piano. A dream to become a performing star was born, and at the age of ten Damian started performing in schools, festivals and talent shows. He won many awards for his poetic, musical and performing talent. As a child, Damian starred in many popular plays and musicals. He loved to perform and be in the spotlight. At the UN-gala in Stockholm 1996, eleven-year-old Damian shared the stage with legends Cher and Michael Bolton.

When he was twelve years old, he started his first R&B-band and began producing R&B and HipHop music. When he was fourteen he formed the HipHop/R&B trio Hollafame. The band won the biggest Swedish R&B/HipHop competition of its time and achieved great success on the Internet with thousands of downloads every week.

Damian’s dream to become a star had never been stronger and he had never been as close to achieving his goals as he was now. Unfortunately, many sad events and people who had a negative influence on him stopped his progress and weakened his will to fight for his dream. To get away from it all, Damian moved to the US to live with his relatives.

He came back to Sweden as a new person, with his mind set on success and getting out of the unhealthy and dangerous path he was previously on...

To be able to fund his first studio, he started working as a telemarketer when he was sixteen. His natural leadership abilities contributed to him being promoted to Sales Coach at the age of seventeen. The development that followed is truly amazing. He got his first management position when he was eighteen. He was promoted to Sales Manager of the financial corporation he was working for. There, he took the sales numbers through the roof, which led to him being promoted to Sales Director for the whole corporation.

His previous results, entrepreneurial skills and leadership abilities led to him being recruited as CEO of a sales bureau with 75 employees - at the young age of 21. One year later he moved on to become Sales Director for one of the biggest entertainment corporations in Sweden, famous for running the most exclusive nightclubs in the country. Less than a year after that, he was promoted to CEO of the corporation’s event bureau. Damian now had everything a young man from the hood could ever dream of. A successful career, money, a luxurious lifestyle… But was he happy? No. Music runs through his veins, and the esthetics is one with his heart. He felt that he had achieved great success, but in the wrong industry. Being successful doing something other than what you really love was being unsuccessful, to him.

One day that changed his life was when he spontaneously sat by the piano and started playing his latest songs for a group of music producers and industry professionals. They where there to have a business meeting about something else! But Damian took a wild card and started playing to their surprise. They were all blown away by his performance, and encouraged him to pursue a career within music so those songs that they referred to as definite hits would be heard! He was offered to sign as a songwriter many times, and finally had a foot in the Swedish music scene. So he chocked his employees, coworkers and business network by leaving that lifestyle to pursue his true passion in life – music.

Damian loves business, and he loves music. So he decided to make music his business by creating Qryptone with artist and life long friend Sepideh Vaziri in 2009. Today, Qryptone is a successful music company recognized for its talent, innovation and rapid development. Damian is CEO and Executive Producer of Qryptone Music and SwedishHitFactory – a Qryptone venture. During 2010, he recruited some of the best upcoming talents of Sweden to his team. Now, Qryptone has one of the fastest growing independent music catalogs in the world – with songs crossing all genres of the musical spectrum.
